Marriage is equal – unless you’re disabled
Many people think that marriage is equal for everyone now. However, this is not the case if you are disabled.
Disabled people are often not able to get married because they would be financially penalised if they were. This is another way that disabled people are unable to have ordinary lives like their able-bodied counterparts.
