Joining the Board are Ashitha Nagesh, an award-winning BBC journalist with extensive experience of reporting social injustice, and Shrivanika Subramanian, an intellectual property lawyer with expertise in compliance and protecting creative work.
Our Trustees play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of the charity. They provide oversight and governance, and support our team to amplify the voices of people with lived experience of social injustice.

Throughout her career, Ashitha Nagesh has specialised in reporting home affairs and social issues. As Community Affairs Correspondent for BBC News, she reported on topics including immigration, asylum, crime and discrimination. In her current role, she produces long-form journalism that explores issues in depth.
Ashitha Nagesh, said: “One of my favourite things about my work as a journalist is being able to help tell people’s stories in a way that will resonate with the wider public, and so I really admire the work that Sounddelivery Media does with lived-experience spokespeople. Now, as a Journalism Trustee, I hope to put the skills I’ve honed over my 15-year career so far to good use.”
Shrivanika Subramanian is an intellectual property lawyer currently pursuing an LLM in Intellectual Property Law at Brunel University of London. She has gained experience across intellectual property, corporate compliance and legal research through internships with leading law firms and multinational organisations.
Shrivanika Subramanian, said: “As a lawyer, creating a meaningful impact on society has always been one of my core ambitions. As someone specialising in intellectual property law, I am excited to support creators through Sounddelivery Media and hope to help protect and empower creative voices in an increasingly AI-driven world.”
