"I am delighted to have been accepted onto the Sounddelivery Media Spokesperson Leadership Programme. As CEO of the IRU, I have always believed that the voices of those most affected by injustice must be heard in the rooms where decisions are made. This programme will sharpen my ability to communicate the realities of Islamophobia to wider audiences in the media, with policymakers and on national platforms. Ultimately this will strengthen the IRU's ability to drive the systemic change our communities deserve."
