About Sounddelivery Media
Sounddelivery Media is a charity amplifying lived experience and expertise to address social inequalities. We look to address representation and diversity of voice in the media and in other places where change happens. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to get into the charity sector, and who loves working as part of a team to get a wide range of voices heard. You’ll be involved in all aspects of our work; our Spokesperson Network programme, client work, training workshops we deliver and communicating our impact online.
The Social Media and Communications freelancer will work closely with the Communications Manager creating content and engagement via our social media channels and newsletter.
What You’ll Be Doing – Key responsibilities:
Digital Communications
- Creating powerful content to share online
- Design and create content from our Spokesperson Network; vlogs, videos, graphics, audio clips for social media.
- Implement the social media strategy on our channels: Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook and Bluesky
- Showcase successes on social media, and monitor social media more widely
- Curating our newsletters with our Communications Manager (via Mailchimp)
- Updating our wordpress website to show our impact
- Use tools for design – Canva, Headliner
Knowledge, skills, experience
- Social Media skills and understanding with a particular focus on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You thrive on being creative
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, ability to prioritise workload, deal with conflicting demands and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail
- Experience in an organisation with a relevant background.

Key information
Location: London with flexible hybrid working
Hours: Flexible but 3-4 days per week
Budget: £100-£150 a day depending on experience
