Nasar Iqbal is the Founder and Director of Black Country Innovate CIC based in Walsall, West Midlands. BCI is a young and ambitious organisation who has worked with hard to reach and BME communities for over a decade, their main focus is to challenge and reduce all forms of hate crimes across the Borough of Walsall, they work with volunteers to support this project by raising awareness and encouraging victims to report hate crime and to help victims of hate crime cope and recover. They are a really passionate, dedicated and committed small team who have been busy supporting our vulnerable residents since the COVID-19 pandemic started with various projects including befriending service and counselling.
