Youth Action Network

Mar 31st, 2009 • Category: Case studies

sounddelivery has an ongoing relationship with Youth Action Network, delivering training to their young people and youth leaders. We have also produced a series of audio case studies for their website.

Project: Wired multimedia training for volunteers

sounddelivery was brought in to develop and facilitate training at three new media workshops for young volunteers in Leeds, Birmingham and London. The aim was to counter negative media coverage about young people. We encouraged the young people to tell their stories using a variety of methods including podcasting and video.

“I found sounddelivery to be excellent facilitators and able to work with diverse groups of people.  The training was both interesting and easy to follow and very interactive and engaging – a lot of the feedback from the young people was about how inspired they now felt to go out there and start doing it”.  Rachel Wilkinson, Marketing & Communications Manager

Project: audio features with young volunteers

Youth Action Network commissioned sounddelivery to produce a series of online features to highlight the work of young volunteers around the country. Our work included interviews with Brook peer mentors and a volunteer for the aids awareness charity Body and Soul.

Young people are often seen to get bad press. Listen to the story of Susan who volunteers for the charity Body and Soul:
