Video for the Web – Friday 30th March
Feb 9th, 2012 • Category: Training and Events
sounddelivery’s one-day Video for the Web workshop will introduce you to the potential of video as a storytelling medium and give you the practical experience you need to start producing high quality video content for your website.
In true sounddelivery style you’ll get hands-on experience with film-making and editing equipment. You’ll also learn the importance of a good shooting script and some effective techniques to help you get the most from your interviewees.
By the end of the day you will know how to:
- understand different video formats and decide which ones are best suited to your organisation and project
- how the storyboarding process works
- plan a shoot, including selecting locations
- use recording equipment with confidence (Kodak Zi8 cameras)
- use advanced interviewing techniques to make your interviewee comfortable and get the best content from your interview
- edit your material using powerful but affordable editing software (Adobe Premiere Elements)
- prepare your video to share online across multiple platforms.
