Many thanks for one of the best events I have attended this year. I have brought back loads of ideas and contacts to follow up– inspirational!

That’s just one of the comments after the first Social Media Exchange for the Cultural and Heritage Sectors. It was fantastic day of learning, networking, and discovering new ways of building audiences and engaging with users.

Across the day over 130 delegates took part in bitesize masterclasses, hands-on social media surgeries and had the opportunity to share ideas with like-minded people.

The day was led by people who have first hand experience of incorporating social media into their work – whether a museum, gallery, library or other organization. From discussions on twitter to setting up a podcast the day provided a hot bed of activity.

All the presentations from the day are now available on our special website www.socialmediaexchange.org.uk where you can also join in the discussions via a special social networking site.

We’ll be running more events under the Social Media Exchange umbrella so do sign up to our newsletter to keep in touch.
