It can help organisations to move from simply broadcasting marketing messages to having genuine two-way conversations with supporters.

But if you’re just getting to grips with social media, the options available can be a bit overwhelming. Our one-day Social Media Basics workshop will help you understand the jargon and give you hands-on experience in areas including blogging, social networking, wikis and social bookmarks.

sounddelivery training is all about learning-by-doing, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to try out social media applications and see how they can be applied to your organisation. The day will focus on free or inexpensive applications that you can easily use within your organisation.

What you will learn

By the end of the day you will understand:

what social media offers and how to use it as part of the communications and fundraising mix

how to set up a blog

how to start using Twitter

how to find and engage new audiences

promote and showcase your work and campaigns online
