The nominations are out for this year’s Sony Awards – the audio equivalent of the Oscars and its great to see UK charities up there with the likes of the BBC and commercial radio giants. Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Prison Radio Association have been listed for their community programming, and a sounddelivery favourite – the Hackney Podcast – has been nominated in the Best Internet Programme Category.

sounddelivery was asked to attend One in Four’s Conference: Talking About Mental Health-Getting it Right. The half-day conference aimed to spark a debate about how to communicate sensitively and appropriately about mental health.
