Leicester Hospitals Charity – Our Space Appeal

To support the Leicester Hospitals Charity’s Appeal for a new teenage/young people cancer ward at Leicester Royal Infirmary we were commissioned to create this video. We prepared all the interviews and then worked with an in-house cameraman. We then crafted a narrative from all the raw footage.
Leicester Hospitals Charity, with support from the Teenage Cancer Trust, and the Robbie Anderson Cancer Trust, needs to raise £1.4 million for the project to go ahead. If the money can be raised in time, work on the new unit will start in summer 2012.

We partnered with societyguardian.co.uk to produce a pilot mental health podcast to mark Mental Health Action Week 2008. The magazine-style programme – the first societyguardian had ever commissioned – featured psychiatrist Paul Keedwell, author and columnist Clare Allan and chief executive of the Mental Health Foundation, Andrew McCulloch. Clare previewed the TV adapation of her novel Poppy Shakespeare and poet Bose Dania talked about her experiences of depression.
