[ September 28, 2011; 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. ] As part of Renaissance East Midlands training programme we are running our one day Podcasting workshop at the Phoenix square in Leicester. The workshop will show you how to collect stories, case studies, interviews and sound effects which you can use to create engaging podcasts to contribute to your collections. You will gain practical experience of audio editing, creating MP3 files and sharing your podcast online.

Building on our successful programme of training workshops with Renaissance East Midlands, we’re delighted to be delivering a raft of new courses and events for Museums in the region. Taking place throughout August, September and October the training focuses of boosting multimedia skills and improving confidence in the use of social media.

Well we’re coming to the rescue! As part of Renaissance East Midlands training programme we’re running a very special Social Media Lab to show you exactly what you need to do and precisely how to do it.

Renaissance East Midlands commissioned us to train museum staff in social media and digital storytelling, to help them develop multimedia projects for the organisation’s Museum Buddies (Mubu) programme.

Crich Tramway Village in Derbyshire had been given funding from the Renaissance East Midlands Mubu project to create an audio trail with a group of young people. They asked us to help them plan and produce the trail, working alongside a creative writer.

sounddelivery has been commissioned to work on two projects with museums in the East Midlands. Both projects form part of the MuBu programme which encourages the interpretation of collections and use of digital media.
