#soundtalks – The Power of the Radio 4 Appeal

She talked about what makes a successful appeal and how she’s now using social and digital media, such as Twitter and audio slideshows, to extend the reach of the Appeals beyond the radio audience.

sounddelivery wins Youth Engagement Award

We’re delighted to announce that a project developed and delivered by sounddelivery for Crich Tramway Village has won the “Working with Children and Young People” award at the Derbyshire Heritage Awards. The project involved young people creating an audio trail to guide visitors through the museum’s restored period village streets.

Carers UK Multimedia Project

We’re thrilled to have started 2011 will a flourish. sounddelivery has been commissioned by the charity Carers UK to produce a series of multi-media case studies using audio, video and photography. These stories will be hosted on a soon to-be-launched website as well as by other departments with the organisations.

[ October 6, 2011; 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. ] The one day Powerful Podcasting course will teach you how to carry out interviews and learn the skills you need to collect stories and case studies for your organisation. You’ll learn how to structure your interviews and podcasts, edit your material using Audacity, create an RSS feed to host your podcasts on iTunes and take advantage of audio sharing sites like AudioBoo and SoundCloud.

One in Four Conference

The half-day conference aimed to spark a debate about how to communicate sensitively and appropriately about mental health.
