#soundtalks: The Power of the Radio 4 Appeal
Jan 24th, 2012 • Category: Training and EventsWe’re delighted to be hosting, along with the Third Sector PR and Communications Network, a Q & A session with Sally Flatman, producer of the Radio 4 Appeal. Sally will be talking about the changing face of the Radio 4 appeal and what makes for a successful appeal. The recent Christmas appeal for the St Martin-in-the-Fields Connection project raised more than £1,500,000.
The Radio 4 appeal is a weekly 3 minute programme (often presented by a celebrity) highlighting the work of a charity and asking for donations to support its work.
The next deadline for applications for a BBC Charity appeal broadcast is 2nd April so if you’re a charity who’s never been involved in an appeal come along and find out more.
Our soundtalk with Sally Flatman will take place on Tuesday 31st January at 6.15 pm in Cityside House, 40 Adler Street, London E1 1EE. Tickets are free and can be booked on eventbrite.
