Charities and community groups could soon be tapping into the success of Channel 4’s The Secret Millionaire.

The UK National Lottery is putting up £1 million which will be allocated to charities and community groups by views of the programme.

Visitors to the show’s website will be able to nominate and promote causes they believe are worthy of support. And through a partnership with Justgiving.com, viewers will also be able to make their own charitable donations.
