Robin Hood Gardens and the Guardian

sounddelivery is increasingly working with journalists to engage them with the work we are doing. Earlier this year we worked with the Twentieth Century Society to create an audio slideshow about Robin Hood Gardens – the controversial housing development in East London threatened with demolition. The Society wanted to raise awareness of the threat to the building and show the work they were doing to safeguard it. We alerted the team at societyguardian.co.uk who were very interesting in running some editorial. After seeing the audio slideshow we produced they invited the Twentieth Century Society to write a Joe Public Blog comment piece and commissioned their own video. All these elements, the slideshow, online article and video were put on the web and cross promoted in the main supplement. And on the day it all went live the visitors to this website went through the roof!
