Our handy glossary explains some of the types of audio content that we can produce for you – as well as when and why you might want to use them.
Audio slideshow
Audio slideshows combine sound and photography together to create a powerful medium for storytelling and a cost-effective, flexible alternative to video. We can work with you to develop creative audio slideshows, using existing images and audio content or new materials.
Celebrity interviews
A celebrity endorsement can come in many forms. You now have the opportunity to capture your celebrity patrons and supporters in audio to help you promote your cause.

Live event coverage
Your event was a great success but what do you have to show for it? We can help create a lasting legacy by capturing the audio highlights of the event and producing an audio report or montage. We can also combine the interviews recorded with photography to create impressive audio slideshows for you to share with your delegates, colleagues and anyone who wasn’t able to attend.

Montage of voices
Produced without script or presenter, these audio features use audio clips from interviews and events. This is a great format to showcase ‘real people’ telling their own stories in their own words.

Opinion pieces
We’re used to reading columns and editorials that express a certain viewpoint, but you can also use audio to put forward your opinion on issues and topics that affect you. These audio features are fantastic at sparking debate and comment.
Podcasts
Podcasts are regular episodes of audio content that listeners can easily subscribe. sounddelivery can produce regular audio features and create podcast feeds so that listeners can sign up and be delivered the episodes without having to miss out. Read more about podcasts on Wikipedia.

Reporter / presenter led
This involves engaging the services of a celebrity, harnessing the talents of your own staff, or using one of our experienced broadcasters to present your podcast. These audio features tend to have a newsy feel and allow the presenter’s character to come across.

Ringtones

Scripted audio features
Introduced and narrated by a presenter to a carefully written script, these features are ideal for clients who want to guide their listeners through a story. They can also be used to link together clips from different interviews and events.
Self-contained stories or case studies, without an interviewer
These audio features tend to be focus on a single issue and a single voice, allowing the compelling story to shine through.

User-generated content
Sometimes the best stories are produced when interviewees record their own material. We have a wealth of experience in training people to use recording equipment to record their own stories, in their own time. Read more about user-generated content on Wikipedia
