<p><strong>sound</strong>delivery’s one-day Video for the Web workshop will introduce you to the potential of video as a storytelling medium and give you practical experience of how to create a video podcast or vodcast – from that lightbulb moment to the final production.</p>
<p>This course has been designed to be as practical and hands-on as possible to help you understand how video can help your organisation. You’ll get to grips with the technical equipment of filming, understand the importance of a good script and get hands on video editing experience.</p>
<p>All <strong>sound</strong>delivery courses are run in small groups and are extremely interactive and practical. By the end of the course you will have created your own short film and started moving ahead with plans for your own organisation.</p>
<h3>Course outline</h3>
<p><strong>Overview</strong></p>
<p>How video can be used to tell stories and how video is used online, including video blogging.</p>
<p>How the storyboarding process works and how to plan a shoot, including locations.</p>
<p><strong>Filming and interviewing</strong></p>
<p>Get to grips with the technical equipment (camera, microphone, positioning and lighting). You&#8217;ll film one another in a role playing exercise to learn how to put an interviewee at ease.</p>
<p><strong>Editing</strong></p>
<p>Learn all about the editing process. You&#8217;ll use <a title="Adobe  Premiere Elements" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_Premiere_Elements">Premiere Elements</a> to edit and add music and titles to the role playing videos you recorded.</p>
<p><strong>Publishing</strong></p>
<p>Uploading to the web and publishing your content across multiple applicatons</p>
<p>All <strong>sound</strong>delivery courses are run in small groups and are extremely practical.</p>

<p>The BBC, the Guardian, Christian Aid and Medecins Sans Frontieres are  just some of the organisations who truly understand the power and cost  effectiveness of digital storytelling through audio slideshows.  In this  one day workshop, <strong>sound</strong>delivery will show you how to combine images with sound to tell compelling stories.</p>
<p>You will be taught the skills you need to collect stories, case  studies and other relevant audio material, which you can combine with  still images to create engaging digital stories to promote the work of  your organisation.  You will gain practical experience of audio editing,  working with photographs and sharing your slideshows online.</p>
<p>By the end of the workshop, you will have the knowledge and  confidence to create your own audio slideshow. You will also have a  clear ideas as to how it can be used as a communiations and/or  fundraising tool.</p>
