The Museum Development Officer for Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull asked us to build the social media skills of people working within museums and heritage groups in the area, taking into account the diverse needs of the participants.
sounddelivery was commissioned to produce a DVD for Community Network, to highlight the work the charity does to support socially isolated people through telephone groups. The charity helps bring together people who are housebound due to caring responsibilities, illness or old age and provides them with opportunities to talk with a group of people who can share their hopes and fears.
Thames Reach is a charity which helps homeless and vulnerable people in London. We worked with the charity on its GROW (Giving Real Opportunities for Work) scheme – a one-year training and development programme that enables former homeless people to get a job within the sector, become financially independent and go on to help and support other homeless people.
We recorded interviews with young people to produce a community-focused presentation for Peabody Housing Estates annual residents’ conference in 2007. Our audio slideshow brought the views of young people to the attention of the whole community.
