Case studies

YHA 2009

Category: Case studies

Creating content for the YHA AGM we trained young people to record their own stories in video and audio. This technique gave us a valuable insight into the workings of YHA hostels and provided young people with a voice.

The Twentieth Century Society

Category: Case studies

One of the 20th century society’s key campaigns has centred on Robin Hood Gardens – a council housing complex in Poplar, east London, designed in the late 1960s by architects Alison and Peter Smithson. Sounddelivery was asked to help promote the campaign to a wider audience and create an audio slideshow to profile the buildings’ merits and argument for protection.

Family Holiday Association

The Family Housing Association provides access to holidays to disadvantaged families and raises awareness about the value of holidays – and first hand accounts of their work is a vital part of their communications strategy. YHA

YHA programmes and activities provide opportunities for disadvantaged young people to broaden their horizons and explore the wider world. The work we’ve done with the organisation is varied and includes two films, an audio slideshow, a series of audio features highlighting the Breaks4Kids fund, a regional radio campaign to raise awareness around the School Trips initiative and podcast training for staff.

NCVO

Category: Case studies

Having reported from several previous NCVO conferences, NCVO commissioned us to record interviews and voxpops at their annual conference in February 2009. Our reporters conducted short interviews with the main speakers and put questions to delegates on a number of topical issues. We then worked alongside a photographer to create an audio slideshow that provides a lasting legacy for the conference and a useful marketing tool for the organisation.

Bespoke podcasting training (various clients)

Category: Case studies

sounddelivery has run bespoke in-house podcasting workshops for a wide range of organisations. The hands-on workshops offer participants a practical guide to understanding, developing and producing audio content. Our aim is to help organisations explore how audio content and podcasts can bring value to their work – and give them the skills, knowledge and confidence to put their ideas into practice.
