Our values
Right from our inception sounddelivery’s aim has been to work on projects that make a real contribution to tackling social exclusion and other important social issues. Living our values is very important to us. As well as seeking out media projects that address social and digital exclusion, each year we give a percentage of our profits to initiatives that provide support for people who are experiencing social isolation. The initiatives we’ve supported in 2009 include:
- Community Network – telephone friendship groups for carers
- Carers Together – carer respite opportunities
sounddelivery is funding a pilot project for carers of people with Alzheimers to take part in telephone friendship groups. This is in partnership with for dementia, a charity supporting the carers of people with Alzheimers.
